WATCH: Gerald admits fault in failed relationship with Bea

MANILA – Gerald Anderson admitted he is to be blamed for his failed romance with Bea Alonzo back in 2010.

“Immature ako. Natakot ako sa mga nangyayari sa paligid namin. Hindi ko alam kung paano i-handle,” he said at the press conference of their upcoming movie “How To Be Yours.”

“Siyempre nanghihinayang ako. Sana mas nakilala ko siya on a deeper, deeper level. Of course, nakilala ko siya on a very deep level pero marami pang layers sana 'yun,” he added.

The two, however, maintain that they enjoy each other’s company now that they have finally gotten the hang of working together for the first time.

Can their fans expect to see them going out even after doing the film?

“Why not? Bakit naman hindi? Like I said, she’s so amazing to be with. Ang sarap niya kasama, ang sarap niya kausap, ang sarap niya tingnan,” Anderson said.

As for Alonzo, she said in jest: “Siguro kapag nasa mood ako makita siya, puwede [kami lumabas].”

Both Alonzo and Anderson are currently single. Anderson’s last relationship was with Maja Salvador, while Alonzo was formerly with Zanjoe Marudo.
