10 years after split, Orange & Lemons gets back together

Minus lead vocalist Mcoy Fundales, Clem Castro and brothers Ace and JM Del Mundo are all back on board. The band broke the news on their <a href="https://orangeandlemons.co/2017/07/22/official-statement-on-reformation/" target="_blank">official website</a> on Saturday, teasing that they&#x27;re ready to come out with new material and will be touring soon. &quot;We badly miss the music so we decided to add a new chapter in the band’s short history,&quot; the band wrote. &quot;This is not some fancy reunion, but a decision to protect the legacy of the band and the songs that many of you know and have grown to love. &quot;New music is on the horizon and we promise to stay true to the sound we are known for with a clear-cut independent direction. We feel good at the prospect of playing our modest catalog for you in the coming months. Until then.&quot; Orange &amp; Lemons is known for hits such as &quot;Hanggang Kailan,&quot; &quot;Isang Gabi,&quot; and the inescapable &quot;Pinoy Ako,&quot; the original theme song for the popular reality show &quot;Pinoy Big Brother.&quot; They disbanded in 2007, following the decision to kick Castro out because of creative differences. The fallout came after the release of their award-winning third album, Moonlane Gardens. Their other two albums were &quot;Love in the Land of Rubber Shoes and Dirty Ice Cream&quot; with Terno Records, and &quot;Strike Whilst the Iron Is Hot&quot; under Universal Records.
