"Mission: Impossible Fallout" cruised to the top of the box office delivering $61.5 million in its weekend debut.

The sequel sees Tom Cruise return as Ethan Hunt. Also returning alongside him are Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames.

"Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again," came in second place in the top ten, taking in another $15 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

"The Equalizer 2" placed third at $14 million, while Sony's "Hotel Transylvania: Summer Vacation" came in fourth with the animated movie coming in at $12.3 million.

Coming in fifth, animated comedy "Teen Titans Go! To The Movies," which brought in $10.5 million.
