MANILA – She has yet to directly respond to the controversy involving her and fellow Star Magic talents Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.

But Julia Barretto finally broke her silence on Twitter amid rumors that she left her former boyfriend, Joshua Garcia, alone after performing together at the “ASAP” show in San Francisco.

Garcia, who has been supportive of Barretto despite their breakup, was photographed by ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan eating by himself during the after-party.

Liquigan praised real-life couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla for transferring to Garcia’s table to keep him company.

Replying to a Twitter user, Barretto stressed that it was Garcia who wanted to spend some time alone at the party.

“I did not leave Joshua alone. He opted and requested to be left alone. He asked to eat and mingle alone,” she said.

“Why are all these fingers being pointed at me yet again?” she asked. “Bakit na naman siya kawawa sa naging choice and decision niya, and bakit kasalanan ko pa ‘to? Walang kumakawawa sa kanya.”

The actress went on to assure the public that Garcia is okay and that “he enjoyed himself last night,” contrary to what many people assume.

“Wala sila lahat alam. Wait lang kayo,” she said, seemingly hinting that she will soon air her side of the controversy.
