WATCH: Liza transforms into ‘evil’ Ganda in trending ‘Bagani’ episode

In another trending episode on Tuesday, "Bagani" showed a glimpse of Ganda (Liza Soberano) being fully consumed and transformed by an otherworldly power she has struggled to control and which turns her "evil."

The scene showed Ganda unleashing flames that then formed the shape of wings. Apparently only knowing destruction, the transformation dubbed "evil Ganda" by viewers then stabs Lakas (Enrique Gil) dead — at least, in his nightmare.

Waking up, a worried Lakas initally appears fearful of Ganda, who remains her human self, despite being weak as she continues to prevent the dark power from taking over. Lakas pulls in Ganda for an embrace, clutching on to the humanity they're fighting to secure.

Lakas' vision of "evil Ganda" killing him, as expected, drew shocked reactions from viewers of "Bagani" on Twitter, making the episode's official hashtag a top trend on the micro-blogging site Tuesday night.
