‘Ancient Aliens’ host believes ETs have visited the Philippines

<p>Giorgio Tsoukalos, of &quot;Ancient Aliens,&quot; one of History channel&#x27;s most popular and longest-running shows, believes that all ancient civilizations were visited by extraterrestrial beings at some point. </p><p>And yes, that includes ancient Philippines. </p><p>According to him, the country has some bizarre folktales that could prove his theories that humans aren&#x27;t alone in the universe. </p><p>He made the claim during a Q&amp;A session he had with fans on History&#x27;s Facebook page Thursday, after he was asked about whether he thinks that aliens have set foot in the Philippines. </p><p>&quot;Absolutely,&quot; he replied. </p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/HISTORYasia/videos/10156835316633754/" data-width="auto"> </div><p>He argued that legends and myths, which the Philippines have a lot of, contain hints and clues to a bigger story --to borrow his term, a &quot;beginning.&quot; He said: &quot;That is where I&#x27;m curious.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m trying to figure out what was the initial spark of inspiration for such particular stories or legends.&quot; </p><p>He did admit, however, that he has yet to see an artifact or megalithic structures from the Philippines to support his theory. </p><p>Tsoukalos is in Manila for History Con 2018, where is one of the headlining guests alongside &quot;Vikings&quot; star Katheryn Winnick. </p><p>He will hold meet-and-greet session with his fans, as well as a panel where he talks more about his &quot;ancient aliens&quot; theory. </p><p>History Con 2018 will be held at World Trade Center in Pasay, from Friday to Sunday. </p>
