Waze, through its official Twitter account, has responded to the viral "audition" video of local comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto to become one of the voices giving directions in the ubiquitous road navigation app.

Tagging the actress' Twitter account, Waze linked to an article about her take on being a GPS voice-over, and said: "Hey @imrufamaequinto, no need to audition. You can make your very own Waze Voice using your Waze app. Just head to Settings > Voice Directions & get recording. Bonus: you can share them with everyone via a link."
