<p>MANILA -- Comedian Michael V has recovered from COVID-19 after he <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/08/04/20/watch-michael-v-opens-up-about-covid-19-battle">tested positive</a> for the novel coronavirus almost a month ago.</p><p>&quot;Sa ngayon tapos na ang quarantine ko at masasabi kong okay na. isip ko -- &#x27;yung tagaktak ng pawis nila kapag naghuhubad ng PPE, &#x27;yung pangungulubot ng mga kamay dahil sa ilang patong na gloves, &#x27;yung marka na iniiwan dahil sa maghapong pagsusuot ng face masks. Ito po ang paraan ko ng pasasalamat sa mga health care workers natin,&quot; he said.</p><p>The comedian also appealed to his fans to help the the medical frontliners by staying safe and following protocols.</p><p>&quot;Kahit po mga superheroes at one point ay natatalo sa mga kalaban. Ang mga medical frontliners po natin ay hindi superheroes, wala po silang superpowers, kaya kung pwede po sana ay huwag natin silang hayaang matalo, tulungan po natin sila. Mag-ingat po sana tayo at sumunod po sana tayo sa batas at protocols para hindi na madagdagan ang kaso ng COVID,&quot; Michael V said.</p>
