Jadaone posts heartfelt message for Lilia Cuntapay

MANILA - Director Antoinette Jadaone took to Instagram to pay tribute to actress Lilia Cuntapay who passed away last Saturday.

"Pahinga na, Nanay Lilia. Ikaw ang una kong leading lady," Jadaone wrote.

Jadaone and Cuntapay worked together in 2001 for the movie "Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay," which gave the character actress her first Best Actress win at the 2011 Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival.

Jadaone also asked her followers to continue helping Cuntapay's family by sending donations.

The filmmaker behind the crowd favorite "That Thing Called Tadhana" is currently in Greece to shoot the James Reid and Nadine Lustre-starrer "Till I Met You."
