As earlier teased, the new clip begins with Nicholas (Avelino) getting struck by lightning and learning that, as a result, he has become immortal. More than a hundred years later, Sophia (Azul) enters the fray and meets him on a cruise ship. The two fall in love but Philip (Ejay Falcon), Sophia&#x27;s lover, makes things a bit complicated. Add to that Nicholas&#x27; promise to never commit to a relationship unless he finds a cure for his rare condition, and his love story with Sophia is anything but straightforward. Viewers then get a glimpse of Tonton Gutierrez&#x27;s character, Benjamin, who seems hell bent in finding Nicholas and learning the secret of immortality. Check out the full trailer above. The new series, produced by Dreamscape, will premiere next month. It remains to be seen as to whether it will air as part of ABS-CBN&#x27;s afternoon block or its primetime lineup. &quot;The Promise Of Forever&quot; is helmed by &quot;Nathaniel&quot; director Darnel Villaflor and award-winning independent filmmaker Hannah Espia of &quot;Transit&quot; fame.It is Azul&#x27;s first time headlining an ABS-CBN series since transferring to the Kapamilya network. One of her last appearances was as part of &quot;Ang Probinsyano.&quot;
