MANILA - As she struggled to solve a Rubik's Cube within the time limit given to her, "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) teen housemate Marydale "MayMay" Entrata got some surprise words of encouragement from her celebrity crush, "Dolce Amore" star Enrique Gil.

"Malapit ka na maging MayMay ko," Gil told the Bohol native in a recorded message broadcasted inside the "PBB" house for the other housemates to also hear, as seen in an episode of the reality show aired Thursday night

And after hearing Gil's message, MayMay was unable to contain herself in an endearing show of happiness from a teen who recently lost her grandfather.

Had MayMay completed the Rubik's Cube challenge, she would have been able to keep a framed photo of Gil. But despite Gil cheering for her, she was not able to solve the puzzle and was visibly disheartened.

Big Brother, however, still gave her a playful gift --a framed but scrambled photo of Gil.

Ever the optimist, MayMay said: "Kapag totoong mahal mo ang isang tao, tatanggapin mo kahit anong mangyari. Kahit hindi buo."

(If you really love someone, you would accept him no matter what happens.)

Meanwhile, Big Brother informed the other housemates that if they manage to raise P20,000 from their "Salon" challenge, then MayMay's mother will be able to visit the "PBB" house.
