Who is he first?”Turning emotional, Avelino answered: “I’ve always wanted to be a father first but maraming komplikasyon, maraming misunderstandings but I’ve always wanted to be a father first.”Avelino has a seven-year-old son, who he rarely sees, with LJ Reyes. The actress is now in a relationship with actor Paolo Contis, while Avelino is currently with Filipino-Australian model Kodie Elizabeth Tarasek.According to Avelino, if he has one characteristic that he wants to maintain, it would be his passion for what he does and for the people he loves.As to the trait which he hopes to change, he simply said: “Inconsistencies.”Avelino was on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” Monday night to promote his new series “The Promise of Forever.”The show, which airs on ABS-CBN after “Pusong Ligaw” from Monday to Friday, also stars Ritz Azul and Ejay Falcon.
