MANILA -- She certainly had more than her fair share of the limelight over the past few months, because of a controversy involving Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson.

But it appears Julia Barretto isn't about to shy away from the all the attention, attracting it even by launching her very own YouTube blog this Saturday, which she dubbed "Just Julia."

Her first post was all about those moments before she took the red carpet of the recent ABS-CBN Ball.

It featured her preparations, a funny scene about her being barred from eating pizza before she wore her gown, and a conversation with her family and friends about "never forcing yourself to anybody."

According to Barretto, she had been thinking about starting a vlog — a move many celebrities have done to varying levels of success — for about a year now.

Her launch came more than a month since she became a target of accusations in the breakup of Alonzo and Anderson. Moving forward from it, she has said that she'll be focusing on "healing."
