Filipino singer Ivy Grace Paredes sang her heart out for her final performance on "The X Factor UK."

Appearing on an episode of the British reality television singing contest following reports that visa issues forced her to quit the show, Paredes sang Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing."

Praising her performance, judge Nicole Scherzinger told Paredes: "I know why you left the Philippines because your voice is way too big for the Philippines alone, it's meant for the entire world to hear."

Simon Cowell added: "Is it the most original thing we've ever heard? No. Is it exciting? Yes. Should you be in a chair, yes."

As previously reported, Paredes managed to secure her spot in the next round. But she had to pull out of the competition after failing to obtain a US visa, which meant that she could not travel to Los Angeles for the show. She was replaced by female rap artist Honey G.

Paredes, who hails from Malaybalay, Bukidnon, earlier wowed the judges of "The X Factor UK" when she performed Mariah Carey's "One Sweet Day" with Mike Hough and Lascel Wood.

She previously said she was inspired to try her luck in the show after watching the Filipino girl group 4th Impact.
