It was back in May when Unique Salonga posted a photo of him with a pair of diamond-shaped glasses from Gucci.

And now, it appears the Italian brand liked what they saw when Salonga modeled its wares as they were said to have "agreed" to support the young artist for a project.

This Friday, Salonga's label, O/C Records, shared on Instagram an outtake from their shoot with Gucci.

"They say you have to be ODD to be number ONE," the caption read, adding: "Kudos to Gucci for recognizing local talents and individuals, who are passionate about their craft."

The photos, which features Salonga walking around in the middle of a forest flaunting his Gucci look, were taken by Zen Flores. He was said to have been styled by Telay Robles.

Salonga first rose to fame as part of the band IV of Spades. He then went on to sign for O/C Records as a solo artist, and have released his first album as one last year entitled "Grandma."
