Actress Alma Moreno again visited her son, former matinee idol Mark Anthony Fernandez in jail Friday afternoon. She was accompanied by Fernandez's lawyer, Sylvia Flores.

Fernandez, Moreno's son with the late actor Rudy Fernandez, was arrested Monday evening for possession of a kilo of marijuana, and is facing possible non-bailable charges.

Fernandez is seen holding on to his mother while he is detained at at Station 6 of the Angeles City Police.

Fernandez told reporters Tuesday that someone planted the marijuana inside his car when he stopped at a checkpoint. This, after earlier saying he bought it for P15,000.

Fernandez's stepmother, actress Lorna Tolentino also earlier raised concerns over possible human rights violations when he was questioned by the police in front of reporters without a legal counsel.

Moreno also visited Fernandez Wednesday evening, spending two hours with him, but declining to grant a media interview.
