It's clear that Jake Zyrus loves his grandmother very much.

So it hit him hard when she first didn't approve of his decision to leave his Charice self behind and come out as a transgender man.

But all that's in the past now, it seems. At his concert held Friday night, Zyrus could be seen sharing an emotional moment with his lola Tess Relucio.

He was singing "Maghintay Ka Lamang," a song he dedicated to his family, when he went down from the stage and approached his grandmother who was seated in the middle of the crowd.

He passed her the mic and she obliged, belting out the rest of the chorus. Afterward, Relucio grabbed Zyrus and appeared to have told him something that nearly brought the singer to tears.

The moving highlight was caught on video by ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe, and was uploaded on Twitter.

Relucio first vented her anger over Zyrus's decision to come out with "TV Patrol" back in August. Since then, she has been more understanding, saying that she misses her grandson very much.

“Kilala mo pa ba ako, bunso? Naaalala mo ba iyong mga bonding natin noong bata ka pa?" Relucio asked Zyrus in a recorded message aired on "Magandang Buhay" last month.

"Nami-miss ko iyon, anak. Ngayon nandiyan ka na, ganap na ang isip mo, ganap na ang edad mo. Proud ako sa iyo, anak. Lagi mong tatandaan, mahal na mahal kita."
