<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/news/10/11/20191011-showtime.jpg"/><figcaption>Sunshine Garcia watches as her husband, Alex Castro, performs as a celebrity contender of “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” ABS-CBN</figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA — Sunshine Garcia was a proud wife as her husband and fellow actor Alex Castro joined the celebrity edition of “Tawag ng Tanghalan” on Friday, with a song that holds a special meaning in their relationship.</p><p>Castro took the “It’s Showtime” stage with the enduring Alamid hit “Your Love,” with a beaming Garcia watching from the audience.</p><p>Garcia happened to be one of the judges in an earlier segment, “Sampu-Sample,” of the noontime program.</p><p>In his post-performance interview, Castro revealed the significance of “Your Love” in his relationship with Garcia.</p><p>When their romance was just starting, Castro was in the process of recording an album. Ngayon, hindi na lang para sa kanya. Kaya ko ‘to kinanta, para sa family ko na ngayon,” he said.</p><p>Garcia and Castro got married in March 2019. They have one child together, one-year-old Axel.</p><p>Castro, who is also a board member of Bulacan’s 4th district, competed on Friday with YouTube personality Songyupsal, singer Marlo Mortel, and comedienne Ethel Booba.</p><p>Ethel Booba, who was named the day’s winner, will face off Saturday with previous victors to be named champion of the celebrity edition of “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”<br/> </p>
