And after the success of &quot;Love You to the Stars and Back&quot; and &quot;Last Night,&quot; it looks like Star Cinema has another hit with &quot;Seven Sundays.&quot; </p><p>The studio announced Thursday that the new family drama from Cathy Garcia-Molina earned P10 million during its opening day. </p><p>It premiered Wednesday, almost a week after &quot;Blade Runner 2049&quot; dropped in local cinemas. The release was also timed in the weeks before the debut of Marvel Studios&#x27; &quot;Thor: Ragnarok.&quot; </p><p>&quot;Seven Sundays&quot; boasts a cast that includes Ronaldo Valdez, Dingdong Dantes, Aga Muhlach, Enrique Gil, and Cristine Reyes. It centers on a widower who tells his kids that he only has seven weeks left to live. </p><p>It is Muhlach&#x27;s first film in five years, and is Dantes&#x27; sixth film with Star Cinema. This is Gil&#x27;s follow-up big screen project to his massively successful &quot;My Ex and Whys&quot; with Liza Soberano. </p><p>It is the latest from Star Cinema following &quot;Love You to the Stars and Back,&quot; which made P102 million in more than two weeks in September, and &quot;Last Night,&quot; which earned P60 million in seven days. </p>
