Arnel Cowley remembers the day his wife, late actress Isabel Granada, fell into a coma. Facebook

For Arnel Cowley, husband of late actress Isabel Granada, it was the day his whole world "turned upside down."

"The unthinkable happened," he recalled on Facebook this Thursday --exactly a year after Granada suddenly collapsed during a fan meet in Doha, Qatar and fell into a coma she would not wake up from.

"I still remember vividly just like it was yesterday when you collapsed and I was frantically trying to save you until help came along.

"The shock, the fear was running through my head asking myself as to what is happening as you are being revived right before my eyes. I couldn't believe what I was seeing," he added.

He continued by penning a heartfelt message for his wife, saying: "Wherever you may be I still long always for your touch and your presence but most of all. I miss you and love you very much."

A sceenshot of the heartfelt post Arnel Cowley wrote for his wife, late actress Isabel Granada.

Granada, who shot to fame as a child and teen star in the 1980s, was declared brain-dead a couple of days after the incident on October 25.

She passed away on November 5 at the age of 41.

She is survived by Cowley and her son Hubert.

Hubert is her son from a former relationship with Jericho Aguas.
