'Halik' recap: The calm before the storm

<p>Friday&#x27;s episode was the calm before the inevitable storm of next week&#x27;s episode, teased to feature heated confrontations aplenty. Of course, calm is always a relative term when it comes to teleseryes about infidelity, most of which live for those euphoric moments where those caught cheating get their comeuppance. </p><p>The episode was still tense, but not in a way that the characters were slapping or punching each other --<a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/10/26/18/jericho-binugbog-si-sam-sa-halik">much like in the day before</a>. No, it was tense in a sense that viewers really did not know what Jericho Rosales&#x27; Lino was going to do next. </p><p>Fans saw him aimlessly wander the night after having his world turned upside down by the discovery that his wife, Jade (Yam Concepcion), was hooking up with another man, Ace (Sam Milby).</p><p>There was moment when fans thought he might have been planning to kill himself, as he crossed a bridge. After waking up, he lectured Jade about not showing up out of the blue. She asked him to leave, just as before the cops investigating the incident arrived with his own wife, Jacky (Yen Santos). </p><p>Now Jacky has started to harbor doubts, after overhearing things at the bar where Ace was beaten up. There must have been a reason, she thought to herself, and there was really just one logical conclusion to all of this. </p><p>They have a fight, with Ace accusing Jacky of losing her trust in him and for suspecting him of any wrongdoing. Jacky also gets into all sorts of messy fights, after Ace&#x27;s mother gets involved. </p>
