Before Liza: Kapamilya stars in 'What's in the Box' challenge

MANILA – Here’s proof that Liza Soberano’s cool demeanor while holding a cricket – and even a worm – is more of an exception than the rule.

ABS-CBN recently did a compilation of hilarious responses of local celebrities to the “What’s in the Box” challenge, which was similarly done by Soberano to promote a watch brand she endorses.

Here’s a look at Bea Alonzo, Aiko Melendez, Candy Pangilinan, Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, Erich Gonzales, Janella Salvador, Loisa Andalio, and Kim Chiu going hysterical as they take part in the challenge.

Soberano’s “What’s in the Box” challenge became viral over the weekend as fans could not believe that the actress did not flinch even as she guessed that a cockroach or a spider might be in her hand.

A second clip showed Soberano touching worms and raw squid. At the end of the video, she casually said she is “not afraid of worms.”
