MANILA – Daniel Padilla finally shared his plans to go back to school after his mother, Karla Estrada, announced on “Magandang Buhay” that she wants all her children to finish their studies.

In an interview on Thursday, Padilla said he wants to study again because having a college degree will definitely work to his advantage in the future.

Iba 'yung dirediretso kang natututo,” he said.

Aside from Estrada, Padilla said his onscreen partner and rumored girlfriend, actress Kathryn Bernardo, is also pushing him to return to school.

Okay naman,” he said.

Meanwhile, Padilla said he and Bernardo are gearing up for a movie and a television series which are both slated for 2017.

“Siyempre very excited ako sa lahat ng projects na binibigay dahil iba na naman siyempre ang tema nito and challenge na naman ito sa amin ni Kathryn kung paano namin ipapakita sa mga tao,” he said.

Will their future projects’ themes be as serious as that of their last movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold”?

Aside from these projects, Padilla will also return to the concert stage.
