While he was cheerful during most of the program, Pascual paused for a moment as he remembered his friend, Hashtags member Franco Hernandez, who passed away last week.

“One of our friends in Cornerstone and one of our brothers, Franco, passed away. And the song kind of reminded me of him, and kind of made me realize a lot of things,” he said. “I could say that Franco left a very good impact on all of us. He’s going to be forever in our hearts.”

He’s going to be remembered for being that smiling face, that guy that was genuine, that guy that cared about everybody, that guy that wanted to make everyone feel loved.”
