<p>MANILA — Comparisons between contemporaries Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre are nothing new, with the actresses even addressing, on numerous occasions, their supposed resemblance.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/entertainment/12/05/20191205-cas.jpg"/><figcaption>A video from Twitter user Cassie has gone viral because of her resemblance with actresses Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre. Twitter: @mxmriel</figcaption></figure></div><p>Their likeness came up anew on social media this week, as a TikTok video of a girl from Davao City went viral because of her familiar appearance, which has garnered both awed and “confused” reactions.</p><p>A flood of comments compared her to either Bernardo or Lustre. A separate tweet from a fan who captioned the video — “Nadine Bernardo is shaking” — similarly had tens of thousands of likes.</p><p>Going by her tweets, Cassie has been made aware of her resemblance to the Kapamilya leading ladies, as reactions comparing her to them continue to pour in.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/entertainment/12/05/1205kathdine.jpg"/><figcaption>Nadine Lustre (left) and Kathryn Bernardo (middle), here with Liza Soberano (right), pose together for the 2015 ABS-CBN Christmas station ID.<em> ABS-CBN</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>The physical similarities of Bernardo and Lustre were first noticed by fans when the latter had her showbiz breakthrough in 2014 via “Diary ng Panget.”</p><p>At the time, the two would be <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/08/19/14/watch-kathryn-reacts-lookalike-nadine-lustre">asked in respective interviews</a> about being likened to each other, with Bernardo saying she had no problem with it, as she found Lustre “very pretty and very charming.” Lustre similarly said she was flattered, and agreed that in certain angles, they do look alike.<br/> </p>
