Jericho on encounter with Heart: It wasn't awkward

MANILA – For those who are wondering about how the much-talked about meeting of former couple Jericho Rosales and Heart Evangelista was like, the Kapamilya actor insists it was not awkward at all.

Rosales said he actually sees no reason why others are making a big deal out of it, noting that it wasn’t the first time he and Evangelista crossed paths.

“It’s not the first time that we’ve seen each other. It’s not like I’m going to dodge any question about that. I can see her, say hello. It’s done. Past is past. We've moved on. We are mature people. It’s a different life. It’s a different world,” he said.

Rosales believes he should not make his world small “just because you had something with someone before.”

In fact, Rosales shared that Evangelista and his wife Kim Jones also talked to each other that night.

“My wife is so amazing because she is really cool. They were actually chatting, silang dalawa. Heart is really cool also. I feel so happy. It wasn’t an awkward evening or anything. It’s how mature people handle things,” he said.

Rosales and Evangelista broke up in 2008. He and Jones tied the knot in 2014, while Evangelista married Senator Francis Escudero a year later.
