MANILA -- Her book, "La Na Bye," is all about farewells.

And in her interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" Thursday, Kakai Bautista was asked about her misfortunes in love that led to these goodbyes, mainly regarding Mario Maurer and Ahron Villena.

She had to answer questions about how her relationships with both men ended, and who she had more trouble moving on from.

According to her, she fell for Maurer's "realness." But her relationship with the Thai star did not quite end the way she wanted to, especially since, she said, they were already exchanging 'I love yous.'

"Na-stop lang po makipag-communicate sa akin," she said of Maurer, though she did not elaborate any further.

Bautista was first linked with Maurer in 2012, after meeting on the set of her movie that year, "Suddenly It's Magic."

Bautista clarified that she and Maurer did not become a couple.

About Villena, Bautista admitted: "Masyadong masakit iyong sa kanya," before adding: "Isang drum na luha iyong nailuha ko. Pero okay lang kasi tapos na iyon. "

She is now just happy that she is friends again with Villena.

Bautista and Villena were rumored to have been a couple in 2016. Things began to sour, however, when Villena surprisingly deleted photos of them together on Instagram.

At the time, Bautista was vocal about her frustrations that her relationship, which she described as "physical," did not lead to a romantic one.

Bautista was on the late night talk show to promote her new book, "La Na Bye," published under ABS-CBN Books. It is available in bookstores for P225.
