K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN has co-produced and recorded a song featured in the trailer for BBC's new natural history series centered on the Asian continent.

BBC Earth unveiled late Thursday a two-minute trailer for its upcoming series "Asia," featuring haunting orchestral music with vocals by SEVENTEEN members DK and Seungkwan.

The music was co-produced by SEVENTEEN's Woozi, his frequent collaborator Bumzu, and Russell Emanuel from the renowned composers' collective Bleeding Fingers Music, according to the trailer.

Narrated by David Attenborough, the seven-part "Asia" explores the wildlife and landscapes of Earth's largest continent.

In a joint statement, SEVENTEEN said they felt "incredibly honored" to take part in "Asia."

"As artists, it is important for us to spread solidarity and positivity through our music, and to be able to work on this vital project alongside the legendary Sir David Attenborough and the multi-award-winning Bleeding Fingers is truly a full-circle moment for us," the 13-member group said.

"Teaming up with SEVENTEEN was the perfect fit, both authentically and creatively. They embraced the opportunity and brought so much passion and energy to the music, making it a truly memorable collaboration!" Emanuel of Bleeding Fingers said.

Matthew Wright, senior producer of "Asia," said the collaboration between SEVENTEEN and Bleeding Fingers "perfectly complements the beautiful imagery of animals and landscapes that our crews worked so hard to capture over the past three years."

BBC has yet to announce a premiere date for "Asia."

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is preparing to make a comeback on October 14 with its 12th extended play "Spill the Feels." The group is also set to embark on its "Right Here" tour, which includes a two-day Bulacan leg in January.
