'This Na Malambing' singer Ryannah J signs with O/C Records

MANILA — "This Na Malambing" singer Ryannah J has signed with O/C Records, the record label said.

Joining the likes of Adie, Kenaniah, Pappel, and mrld, Ryannah J has signed both a recording and a talent management deal with O/C Records, led by Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza.

In discussing her upcoming music, she shared that her vision aligns with O/C’s aesthetic and core values: "young, crazy, and free."

Born Ryannah Julia Policarpio, the 18-year-old singer-songwriter debuted in the local music scene last May with “This Na Malambing,” a collaboration with hip-hop artist Nateman. 

The track has already amassed over 41 million streams on Spotify.

In less than five months, the younger sister of social media personality Sachzna Laparan has gained over 2.4 million monthly listeners. 

She has released four tracks, including “Puntirya” with 5 million streams, “Halikana” with 2 million streams, and her latest, “Kuwago.”

On social media, Ryannah J is also a rising influencer. She has 2.6 million followers on TikTok, 220,000 on Facebook, and 167,000 on Instagram.

For the remainder of 2024, she will be performing at music festivals and gigs while continuing to write and record new tracks.
