Photo by MJ Felipe."/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Ella Mae Saison with South Border&#x27;s frontman Jay Durias. <em>Photo by MJ Felipe.</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- Dallas, Texas-based soul singer Ella Mae Saison is back in the country for a limited time as she’ll be joining forces with iconic band South Border for a one-night only concert &quot;Soundtrip Sessions Volume 3&quot; happening on November 9 at the Theater in Solaire, Pasay City.</p><p>Saison and South Border frontman Jay Durias said it was an easy yes to do the show.</p><p>“The fact that it’s Ella Mae, South Border said yes right away.” Durias said. “To be able to share the stage with Ella Mae, and perform the songs from the &#x27;80s that have really good melodies, so motivating for South Border.”</p><p>Saison said: “Same. We haven’t done a show together. So I think it’s gonna be a great chemistry. That’s so cool kasi we both share the same roots in music. It will be so comfortable for us.”</p><p>Saison feels that her sound fits like a glove with Durias&#x27; band.</p><p>“Iba talaga ang South Border, iba &#x27;yung music, iba &#x27;yung tugtugan nila. Sa tingin ko nababagay ang music namin. They can expect a lot of emotions for this show. It will make them cry, make them sweat, everything!” she said.</p><p>The concert will feature music from the &#x27;80s and &#x27;90s, as they believe that there is still a thirst for classic OPM these days.  </p><p>“Kasi hindi na natin naririnig ngayon &#x27;yung mga dating mga songs na talagang &#x27;yun ang authentic. Dapat ma-revive natin. Ito &#x27;yung gagawin namin.
