After being stranded in Sorsogon due to bad weather condition caused by tropical storm Kristine, Filipino rock band Parokya ni Edgar has finally left the province.

In an social media post on Thursday, the OPM band's fronman Chito Miranda shared that he and the rest of Parokya ni Edgar members are now safe in Kalibo, Aklan.

"After 4 days, sa wakas, makaka-uwi na tayooo," Miranda wrote in the caption. "Ending: Hello, Kalibo!," he added.

As they landed safely in Kalibo, Aklan, the OPM band vocalist also expressed his gratitude to the other in-flight passengers who calmly understood the situation.

"Mabuti na lang light lang 'yung mood dito sa flight namin and everyone is still in a good mood," he said ."Thank You, Lord, for keeping us safe."

The band, who had been in Sorsogon for the Kasanggayahan Festival, was among the performers of "Concierto sa Kasanggayahan" along with Skusta Clee and Flow G.
