Despite the challenges and changes in the entertainment industry, Ogie Alcasid’s bond with the Kapamilya network remains strong.

Recently, the popular singer and TV host renewed his contract with ABS-CBN, expressing his deep gratitude for the trust and opportunities the company continues to give him.

“I’m grateful, very honored, very thankful for the trust. We know that our work has become quite… the industry is becoming smaller and smaller,” Alcasid said in an interview.

With his many years in showbiz, Alcasid has learned numerous valuable lessons. “It’s the truth. Hindi ka naman pwede forever nandiyan; you are replaceable,” he said. “But what I’ve learned so far is that every opportunity you’re given, they say to reinvent. For me, it’s about continuing to create.”

Alcasid also acknowledged that his career has faced its own trials. “Not knowing when your next job will come, not knowing where you will go kasi ganyan talaga ang nature ng trabaho natin. There is so much uncertainty” he admitted.

For now, fans can continue watching Alcasid as a host on "It’s Showtime."

“Parang it was a dream come true. Parang naalala ko noong judge pa lang ako sa Tawag ng Tanghalan, sabi ko ang saya-saya nila doon sa entablado, parang sarap makipag bardagulan sa kanila and it happened!” he said.
