I&#x27;ve been very honored and very excited to be considered for the things that I have.”The “Shang-Chi” star likes that, unlike other award shows whose winners are determined by select groups of people, the “People’s Choice Awards” celebrates the fans who pick their best winners in pop culture.Celebrity couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are both nominated in their respective category in music and sports.The year’s blockbuster hit “Barbie,” meanwhile, scored multiple nominations, including one for Liu.“I feel like they were just trying to be nice to me,” Liu quipped. “I have no expectation of winning, but I&#x27;m very, very honored and touched by the recognition.”He added: “If you look at the other nominees in that category, who are all just so incredible, I think they&#x27;re far more deserving.”The Marvel Cinematic Universe star was also recently seen performing with Filipino-American singer AJ Rafael.He shared that the Fil-Am is a mutual friend, whom he described as musically talented and “just the best human being.”Asked if he is singing during the awards night, Liu said: “I don&#x27;t want to make it too much about me. I want to make it about this year of pop culture that we had. There&#x27;s just so much to celebrate. We&#x27;ll see, but the celebration comes first.”The “People’s Choice Awards” will be held on Feb. 18 in Santa Monica, California.It will air live in the U.S. on NBC, Peacock, and E!
