Robinhood Padilla, the Senate Resolution No. 909 congratulates and commends the artists and production team of &quot;Rewind,&quot; after it became the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.<br/> <br/>The film’s leading stars, director and producers were present at the Senate to receive a copy of the Senate’s resolution, including Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, director Mae Cruz Alviar, Kris Gazmen and Marizel Martinez of Star Cinema, Jojo Oconer and Michael Tuviera of APT Entertainment.<br/> <br/>Padilla said the movie left movie goers with important lessons and lauded Dantes and Rivera as symbols of the modern Filipino family exemplifying love for God, country, environment and fellow man.</p><ul class="op-related-articles"><li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/1/30/-rewind-is-first-ph-film-to-earn-p900-million-1927">READ: &#x27;Rewind&#x27; is first PH film to earn P900 million</a></li><li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/1/30/-rewind-hits-hollywood-dingdong-dantes-leads-charge-at-miff-1806">READ: &#x27;Rewind&#x27; hits Hollywood; Dingdong Dantes leads charge at MIFF</a></li></ul><p><br/>“Hindi lamang po dahil sa halos isang bilyong piso ang kinita na ng pelikulang ito kundi dahil po sa iniwan nitong pag-ibig at aral na tumagos sa puso at kaisipan ng ating mga kababayan,” Padilla said.<br/> <br/>Majority leader Joel Villanueva lauded the movie for reminding the public of the importance of expressing love for each other on a daily basis. </p><p>“Ipinaalala po ng mga eksena sa pelikula na walang rewind button ang buhay kaya po dapat sikapin pong ipadama araw-araw ang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa ating pamilya at sa kapwa,” he said.<br/> <br/>Senator Bato dela Rosa said he cried as he watched the movie with his family, saying it was his wife who convinced him and his entire family to watch the movie. </p><p>&quot;&#x27;Yun pala may purpose ang misis ko: para ipaalam ng aking butihing maybahay na ang buhay pala ay walang rewind. Sa loob ng sa sinehan, Mr. President, mahiya man ako sabihin pero humagulgol talaga ako ng iyak, grabe ang iyak ko … lahat kami mga anak ko at sons in law ko pati misis ko nag iyakan kami sa loob ng sinehan.”<br/> <br/>Sen.
