Upcoming K-pop girl group UNIS, which includes Filipino members, is heading to the Philippines in May for a fan signing tour, the event's local producer announced Tuesday.

On X, formerly Twitter, promoter CDM Entertainment said the eight-member multinational act would hold fan signing events in Cebu on May 4 and Manila on May 5 and 6.

"Filipino fans, this is your chance to meet the new gen of K-pop," CDM wrote on its X post, noting that further details will be revealed in a later time.

The event announcement comes ahead of UNIS' debut with the extended play (EP) "WE UNIS" on March 27.

On its social media pages, the group has begun unveiling teaser photos for the EP.

Managed by F&F Entertainment, UNIS was formed through the survival show "Universe Ticket" on Korean broadcaster SBS.

Its members include Filipino idols Gehlee Dangca and Elisia Parmisano as well as Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeonju (also known as Belle from the girl group Cignature).
