MANILA -- Star Magic artist Anji Salvacion is not turning her back on acting even after receiving negative comments about her performance in the primetime series "Linlang."

"I am not closing my doors," Salvacion told ABS-CBN News on Wednesday at the Star Magic Spotlight.

"If there's audition, I will audition. If they will get me, thank God. If not, thank God because it's an experience and it's an opportunity for me to learn that 'ah, so these are the things I should do.'"

But for now, Salvacion, who also starred in the stage musical "Tabing Ilog" last year, said she is focusing on her music. She will officially launch her album "GRIT" this Saturday, March 16, at Gateway Cineplex.

"As of now, I am focusing on my music because it's the very first dream that I really had since 2019 when I joined 'Idol Philippines' and this is it. I am already starting with 'GRIT' and I want to continue doing it because it's really my passion and I am so excited to release more songs," Salvacion said.

The EP, released under ABS-CBN Music’s StarPop record label, revolves around the themes of confidence, empowerment, love, and letting go.

Salvacion, 20, first rose to fame as a contestant on "Idol Philippines" in 2019 and went on to join "ASAP Natin 'To" as a regular performer.

She was also the winning celebrity housemate in the 2021 edition of "Pinoy Big Brother."

Salvacion is currently part of "Linlang: The Teserye Version" which airs weeknights after “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
