Gerald Anderson makes surprise appearance in PVL game

MANILA – Kapamilya leading man Gerald Anderson made a surprise appearance during the matchup between the Choco Mucho Flying Titans and Cignal HD Spikers at the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Anderson lauded the volleyball experience as he watched a PVL game for the first time.

"First time ko manood ng PVL na live," the 35-year-old Star Magic artist told ABS-CBN News. "It's a different atmosphere, iba rin siya sa basketball and very intense din 'yung mga supporters ng PVL."

Anderson is also known for his stint as a basketball player in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

Asked whether he was in attendance to support either Choco Mucho or Cignal, Anderson said he was rooting for both teams.

"Both teams actually, kasi sa gym ko sila nagwo-work out. Actually, malapit lang dito so I'm just here to support them and magandang experience kasi first game ko so it's a kakaibang experience," he said.

Anderson said in October 2023 that he opened another branch of his gym.
