After winning Best Actor at the 1st Manila International Film Festival in Los Angeles California for his performance in the horror movie "Mallari," Piolo Pascual revealed that he has received a number of scripts for consideration.

Pascual said he wants to be part of the golden year of the Metro Manila Film Festival this 2024.

"Marami na pong nagsesend ng scripts, for consideration for the (upcoming) MMFF, but there is one project that we are zooming on, sana makasali."

He added, "Hindi ko alam kung kasama ako sa cast, pero I still want to be part of the film festival on its 50th year. Sana makapag-participate tayo. Sana matanggap yung pelikulang gagawin natin."

While Pascual is busy in the local movie scene, his son Iñigo has been actively working on auditions for possible Hollywood projects.

His last project was the TV series 'Monarch' where he acted alongside Susan Sarandon.

"Sinesend niya sa akin yung mga audition tapes niya, mga reels niya, and yung last audition niya, natanggap siya. Nakakatuwa, kasi he's doing his own thing. And at the same time he has businesses on the side as well."

Pascual added that he admires his son for his independence.

"Ito talaga yung gusto ng bata. Umaarte rin, kumakanta rin. He has my support through and through."

Pascual has noticeably lost weight.

He said he has been actively playing badminton and this is his preparation for his upcoming epic series "Pamilya Sagrado" under ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment.
