Filipino-American film editor Ben Bulatao is rightfully proud of his work in the new show, “Orlando Bloom: To The Edge.”

In the three-part adventure docu-series, Bulatao’s editing team helped in taking the viewers on a thrilling journey.

“The Lord of the Rings” actor went on a quest to overcome fears and to test his limits by taking on extreme sports.

Bulatao is a six-time Primetime Emmy nominee for his work in the non-scripted series “Deadliest Catch.”

"It was amazing," Bulatao said of his experience editing the docu-show. "They just gave me the footage. They’re like: ‘Go ahead, whatever you think.’ And it scared me because I was thinking, ‘Okay, sheesh, I could really screw it up.’"

He added: "But then when I watched the footage, I'm like, ‘Okay, I know what to do with this.’ I kind of gave them what I thought they would like."

After a screening of a rough cut of ‘To the Edge,’ Bulatao was informed by one of its producers that Bloom liked how everything was put together and was moved by the storytelling.

Asked about the most rewarding aspect of editing the project, the Fil-Am said: "Honestly, it's just to get that reaction [on] something that we helped create."

"As unscripted editors, we're often given the task of like: 'Okay, figure it out.' And then along with the producers we work together to try to figure something out, and then when it turns out right, and they react like that? That's all I want. I want them to be happy."

Bulatao said he continuously tries to improve in his craft by watching the work of his colleagues, both new and old.

"You get ideas, you get inspired," he said. "I'm just watching all these old movies, and just watching how they cut and their storytelling. And it's amazing."

"Orlando Bloom: To The Edge" is now streaming on Peacock.
