Actor Jericho Rosales will be heading to Cannes for the Marché International des Programmes de Télévision (MIPTV) event in Cannes, France. 

This annual event serves as a platform for showcasing and trading television content to industry professionals worldwide. Exciting news about an upcoming Filipino crime drama series called Sellblock has been revealed in an article published by the online news site Deadline.

Sellblock is slated to be presented at the final MIPTV event in Cannes next week. 

The show is set to span three seasons and follows the intricate operations of one of Asia's most prominent drug empires, which operates from within a prison in the Philippines.

Sellblock is produced by Manila-based BlackOps Studios Asia, led by Pedring Lopez, known for his work on notable projects like Netflix's "Maria," "Darkroom," and "Geisha of Death," as well as heading Psyops8. Lopez has directed all eight episodes of the first season.

Rosales excitedly shared the news on his Instagram account saying “Pack your bags team, we're headed to Cannes. Open the prison gates, bring me a decent shirt and some cash.”
