MANILA — Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda gave the Madlang People a performance to remember on Saturday.

Vice celebrated their birthday on the same day that "It's Showtime" officially debuted on GMA's Channel 7, and they delivered a historic opening segment that included spoken word poetry.

Speaking with ABS-CBN News, the "It's Showtime" host thanked both the Kapamilya and Kapuso audiences for the overwhelming love and support that the noontime show received during its pilot episode on the GMA Network.

Vice was thrilled that they were able to put on an unforgettable show, after all the hard work they poured while preparing for their GMA Network debut.

Mataas 'yung pressure, of course. 'Yung stress level, mataas din. Pero positive siya eh," she said.

"Positive namin siyang hinarap, kaya masipag ang lahat. Maliksi lahat, mataas ang energy. Very cooperative ang lahat. Kaya hindi man ganoon ka-smooth 'yung mga pinagdaanan during the preparation, pero na-achieve naman bandang huli."

Vice also shared that they are planning some new segments for the upcoming episodes of the noontime show.

"Mayroon kaming mga bagong nilulutong segments pero for now, itong mga segments namin na kinagigiliwan ng mga Kapamilya, gusto namin i-introduce sa mga Kapuso audience," she said.

“It’s Showtime” now airs on GMA  aside from Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, GTV and A2Z.
