Paige Javier, ABS-CBN News"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">PBB hopefuls at a mall in Ortigas. <em>Paige Javier, ABS-CBN News</em></span></span></span></div><div><span style="background-color:transparent">ORTIGAS</span><span style="background-color:transparent">— Dozens of hopefuls camped overnight outside a mall in Ortigas, looking to make their mark in Pinoy Big Brother auditions Saturday. </span></div><p>Some of those in line said they were at the mall as early as Friday morning, while others queued during the evening. </p><p>Hopefuls like Janiero Gregorio came all the way from Lucena City for the audition. </p><p>“Nagpunta po ako dito 6 pm all the way from Lucena City. First time ko po dito sa Manila, magisa lang ako bumiyahe from Lucena sobrang proud ko,” he said. </p><p>“Madami din po kasing pumipila. Mas better na maaga kami para mas maganda yung pag audition namin,” he added. </p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/4/27/pinoy-big-brother-kicks-off-first-round-of-auditions-1158">READ: Pinoy Big Brother kicks off first round of auditions</a></div><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/4/23/lauren-dyogi-shares-tips-for-pinoy-big-brother-auditions-1613">READ: Lauren Dyogi shares tips for &#x27;Pinoy Big Brother&#x27; auditions</a></div><p>He explains that it’s his dream to become an artist so he’s willing to do anything to make it come true. </p><p>Working student Clark Justin Flores from Marikina believes lining up early will give them an edge come audition time.</p><p>“Pag nauna po kami, mas mauna po kami magaudition, makita po namin kung sino talaga kami,” he said.</p><p>His main reason for auditioning for PBB is to help his family, especially since his mom is a single parent.</p><p>“Nag audition po ako hindi lang para sa akin, para sa akong pamilya. Ang pangarap ng aking pamilya ako nalang tutupad,” he added.</p><p>Aspiring actress Maria Robelyn Reyes says she lined up 8 pm so that she would already be settled ahead of the audition.</p><p>The PBB hopeful says she wants to fulfill her dream and help her family at the same time. </p><p>“Gusto ko pong maging artista. Especially po gusto ko matulungan parents ko kasi single parent na din po siya and breadwinner din po ako and working student,” she said.</p><p>She says being a former president of a theater organization and her experience on stage is a big boost to her confidence.</p><p>“Isa narin ako sa naka stage play before. So kaya ko rin po umacting, sumayaw and kumanta,” she said.</p><p>PBB on-site auditions kicked off last month.
