'Tao Po': Karylle at Yael Yuzon naniniwalang wala dapat stereotyping ng kasarian sa isang relasyon

Nitong Pebrero, nag-trending sa social media ang celebrity couple na sina Yael at Karylle Yuzon nang mag-propose si Yael kay Karylle sa programang It’s Showtime.

Para kay Karylle, ito ay isang “recommitment of vows, para ngang good check-in...with our families and a great excuse to pray together.” 

Sa kanilang pagsasama, naniniwala ang mag-asawa na dapat walang stereotyping ng kasarian sa isang relasyon.

Sabi ni Karylle, “We don't have a lot of gender roles with chores.”

“And like toys and color,” sabi naman ni Yael.

Maging kuko at buhok, pahabol ni Karylle. May kulay kasi ang kuko at buhok ng kanyang asawa.

Para sa bokalista, “Hindi naman gender specific ang blonde hair at although my pants are from the women's section. We could share.”

Sagot ng singer-host, “I guess it helps, it helps open our eyes.”

Mahalaga rin sa mag-asawa ang paggawa ng musika.

“If there's one thing Yael is strict about it's that I have to create my own music, so I'm the middle writing him a song,” ani Karylle

“Parang you should write your own music, kasi we're not supposed to borrow someone else's words. Wala namang ownership of words. But you know, at least make them, make them something from here not just your throat,” sabi ni Yael.

Ibinahagi rin nila ang mga natutunan sa mahabang relasyon.

“Anyone can make mistake and it's a thing that could happen in a relationship. Pwedeng 11 years or 20 years kayong perfect tapos biglang one mistake. End of the day there's gonna be give and take, forgiveness and hope na you can bounce back from whatever it is. Maganda rin na magkaroon ng mga taong magsasabi sayo ng mga things na kailangan mong marinig,” sabi ni Yael. 

“We have really good friends in our circle sa work, and ates and kuyas that we call for emergencies,” pahabol ni Karylle.
