The singer-actress was also excited to work with Sigrid Bernardo, the director of the romantic comedy film &quot; Kita-Kita.&quot;</p><p>It was her first time working with a foreign actor, as well as doing an international film, so she admitted she did not have an instant chemistry with Metawin and they also encountered language barrier issues.</p><p>&quot;I think there were  definitely  issues with the language barrier. Win&#x27;s very conscious about his English, but he&#x27;s  actually  very good at it. Plus, I am an introvert, so I didn&#x27;t know how to start the conversation,&quot; Salvador said.</p><p>But after some time, the two became comfortable with each other and found the soft spot of their connection.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/3/5/-under-parallel-skies-to-screen-in-singapore-thailand-1937">&#x27;Under Parallel Skies&#x27; to screen in Singapore, Thailand after deal with Warner Bros.</a></div><p>In &quot;Under Parallel Skies,&quot; Salvador plays Filipino hotelier Iris, who works in Hong Kong and crosses paths with Parin (Metawin), who searches his  missing mother. Iris would then help Parin navigate his path  towards  love, heartbreak, and healing despite their differences.</p><p>&quot;They come from very different backgrounds and when they finally meet, within those differences, they discover that those differences make their relationship stronger. It&#x27;s funny because their dynamics are not the usual dynamics. Like sometimes they hate each other. It&#x27;s like they grow on each other eventually. You have to take a ferry just to get there and they use bicycles to get around. It&#x27;s very simple living. We also shot in Tai O Village, where the houses are built on water. That was also very interesting. I enjoyed shooting there and I loved seeing the different cultures,&quot; the actress added.</p><p>&quot;Under Parallel Skies&quot; is now showing in cinemas nationwide.</p>
