Talent manager and host Ogie Diaz speaks up after actress Bea Alonzo filed cyberlibel complaint against veteran showbiz columnists and their co-hosts on Thursday.

Diaz addressed the issue on his Facebook account the same evening.

He appealed for understanding from his colleagues in the media who are trying to get his side.

“Pasensya na sa lahat ng reporters na tumatawag para maging balanse lang ang kanilang report. Naiintindihan ko kayo kung nginangarag kayo ng news desk o ng editors niyo,” Diaz wrote.

“Makakarating din naman sa amin yan para sagutin sa takdang panahon. Pero eto ha? Ayoko nang magpakaplastik,” his post read, referring to how he wants to deal with the matter moving forward.

Diaz ended his post by saying he always wished Alonzo and her former fiancé Dominic Roque well on his show.

“Tulad ng lagi naming hinihirit sa Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, sila pa rin gusto naming makatuluyan sa ending,” Diaz wrote.

Bea Alonzo, Dominic Roque confirm 'end' of engagement

The actress filed the cyberlibel raps because of the allegedly damaging statements of the respondents against her.

Alonzo’s lawyer Atty. Joey Garcia did not name the respondents.
