MANILA — With the promise of looking for music stars based on their singing alone with the blind auditions, "The Voice Philippines" helped ABS-CBN build new names in the OPM industry.

Despite being in only two seasons, Martin Nievera saw how much he valued his artists as a coach and how they are willing to help them build their careers even after the competition.

"We also have the passion of not breaking the spirit and the dreams of these kids. Okay 'yung competition, okay 'yung good television, pero ingatan natin 'yung mga spirit at mga soul of these teenagers. They have to grow up to be whatever they want to be. If we could help, we will help," he said.

With the likes of Zack Tabudlo, Morissette, Klarisse de Guzman, Juan Karlos, Moira dela Torre, Jeremy Glinoga, Darren, among others, KZ Tandingan saw how they were able to kick-off their careers regardless of their position in the competition.

"Ang daming bata na natupad ang pangarap dahil sa 'The Voice.' So when I got this opportunity alam ko talaga na I will not take it lightly," Tandingan said.

"Kami ni Coach Martin, grabe talaga 'yung effort talaga namin. We wanted to make sure na 'yung kids na napunta sa 'min, even though we don't have as much experience as Coach Bamboo, that they get the same amount of effort and love. Sobra po kaming masaya and mapalad na kahit two seasons lang, we get to experience following these kids' lives," she added.

With the show's conclusion on the Kapamilya network, one of the show's original coaches, Bamboo, expressed how he savored every moment to mentor a new generation of singers.

"I carry all my coaches with me, all the OG coaches as well. This season, I knew it was going to happen. Every time I sat on that chair, I knew it was the final moment at some point. There were a lot of emotions for me," he said.

"The Voice Philippines" host Robi Domingo noted how the show has also highlighted the perseverance of the artists to reach for their dreams.

"That's probably why I got so emotional, knowing that this is gonna be the last of 'The Voice' right here sa Kapamilya network. Parang bumalik lang 'yung mga alaala, nung nagsimula tapos 'yung mga hirap na mga pinagdaanan, 'yung journey ng mga teen artists, mga young artists, ng mga voice artists," Domingo said.

"I was privileged na maging bahagi ako from the adults, the kids, and the teens, sa iba't ibang mga coaches, mga hosts. I was a V reporter before and now parang nag-full circle lang. Ang sarap ng pakiramdam and also ang lungkot. It's one of the biggest franchises in the world and it made an impact sa lahat ng mga Kapamilya eh," he added.

Domingo expressed his his gratitude that the Kapamilya network was a part of their journeys as OPM artists.

"When we talk about 'The Voice', originally ang maiisip mo, the OG coaches. Whenever I go out and sabihin nila nasaan si Coach Bamboo, saan si Coach Sarah (Geronimo), Coach Lea (Salonga), Coach APL, Coach KZ, Coach Martin, even si Coach Sharon (Cuneta) before. Alam mo talaga na pinapanood siya nang maraming (tao)," the host said.

"And 'The Voice' has produced so many OPM artists like we got Darren, Moira dela Torre, Juan Karlos, Klarisse de Guzman, Morissette, Kyle Echarri, ang dami. Those artists, naalala ko pa 'yung unang pagkakataon na inabot ko sa kanila 'yung red envelope. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na maging bahagi ng journey na 'yun," he added.

As they take their final bow, host Bianca Gonzalez is hopeful that the last batch of artists would also have successful careers in the future.

"We've had so many artists who even just joined and now some of the best singers. I think maaasahan natin na some of the teens from this season would really, really go a long way," she said.

Domingo is still optimistic as they close the curtains saying: "Hopefully, we get to say 'The Voice' again but for now we say maraming-maraming salamat sa 'The Voice' and we really hope na we get to let our voices be heard once again."
