After 148 episodes and two seasons, the Filipino love team of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano just wrapped up their hit primetime series “Can’t Buy Me Love.”

The tandem popularly known as “DonBelle” will head stateside for “ASAP Natin ‘To,” ABS-CBN’s Sunday musical-variety show, in California on Aug. 3.

“I’m very excited. The previous ASAPs we went to were very fun and memorable,” said Pangilinan. “To be part of something that’s been going on for so long, to be part of the roster with Tito Gary (Valenciano) and Tito Martin (Nievera) who have been in the industry for a long time, [it’s] always a fun time.”

Mariano, meanwhile, said she is happy for the opportunity to “be gathered there with amazing and talented artists.”

“DonBelle” last performed in California for the Star Magic “30 Beyond the Stars” concert in August 2022. 

They then made a quick stop in November of that year to promote their hit movie “An Inconvenient Love” shortly after taking part in the ASAP in Las Vegas. 

Wherever they showed up, they were greeted by much fanfare. This year – they said they are excited to meet their loyal fans known as “Bubblies” in the U.S. once again. 

“For us to have a chance to, as we say, ‘bring home’ back to them and give them a glimpse of how the Philippines is and what they miss, it’s really a great feeling,” Pangilinan added. 

Said Mariano: “I’m very excited to see all of our ‘Kapamilyas’ there. It’s been a while since I saw you, almost two years ago. I just can’t wait, of course, to tour around LA.”
