MANILA — "Yes!"

This was what K-pop girl group TWICE's leader quickly said Saturday when asked if they would return to the Philippines in their future tours.

During their first-ever fan meet in the Philippines for local food brand Oishi, Park Jihyo easily answered a question on whether they would return to the country after their fan meet.

Im Nayeon, the group's eldest member, also doubled down on this during her closing remarks.

"If [we're] given the opportunity to perform here again, we will definitely come back to the Philippines," Nayeon said through a translator.

Before the 9-piece act's June fan meet, they last performed in the country in 2023 for their 2-day concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan as part of their "Ready To Be" tour.

The fan meet was held at the Mall of Asia Arena where fans of the girl group, also called ONCEs, were able to interact and play games with the idols, with some of the fans even winning exclusive signed items from the artists.

The girl group is composed of Nayeon, Yoo Jeongyeon, Hirai Momo, Minatozaki Sana, Jihyo, Myoui Mina, Kim Dahyun, Son Chaeyoung and Chou Tzuyu.
