Speaking to ABS-CBN News before his departure for the United States for his concert with Erik Santos, Ajero shared that he too was surprised when the award-winning songwriter asked him to sing "All By Myself" by the incomparable Celine Dion.

When his management was approached about being Foster's opening act, Ajero prepared three songs: "All I Ask" by Adele, "Defying Gravity" from the musical "Wicked," and his debut solo single "Room." But during rehearsals, he was surprised to see Foster on stage.

"During the rehearsals po, pinaakyat ako sa stage to rehearse my three songs. Nagulat po ako nagre-rehearse si Sir David. So akala ko mamaya pa ako, tapos bigla niya akong tinanong kung suot ko na raw yung in-ears ko. 'Do you have your ears on?' Yes, sabi ko. 'Do you wanna try this song?' Sabi ko what song? Sabi niya 'All By Myself'. Tanong ko, am I going to perform this song tonight? Sabi niya, yes we can try," Ajero said.

After trying it out, Foster was convinced that Ajero can belt this song in the show -- but that only made Stell even more nervous.

"Sobrang pressured po talaga. Actually hanggang ngayon pag nakikita yung videos sa social media, iniisip ko, paano ko nagawa yun? Ang sinabi niya kasi pinakakinabahan ako, sabi niya 'Stell you only got once chance to try this song?' Sinabi niya po bago yung performance ko," Ajero recalled.
