MANILA -- Director Chad Vidanes expressed his happiness over the support of Filipino viewers for the Philippine adaptation of "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim," which stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.

"Sobrang overwhelmed, sobrang thankful na natuwa ang audience sa adaptation, kung paano natin pinasukan ng very Pinoy feel yung adaptation na 'yon. Until now disbelief pa rin talaga na ganoon kaganda 'yung reception ng audience doon sa adaptation. Kaya very, very thankful ako. Kaya 'yon ang nag-push sa akin to do better," Vidanes said.

"Mahirap siya in terms of the pressure of giving justice to the adaptation but at the same time it was fun because we get to hover, issue our own voice as Filipinos," Vidanes said.
